We, the welcoming community of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of the Diocese of Lake Charles Louisiana, united in the presence of the Eucharist and formed by faith in the Holy Spirit strive to bring others to God through prayer, service, stewardship, and our cultural worship.
His Holiness Pope Francis has called for a Jubilee Year of 2025 that invites the faithful to be pilgrims of hope. In preparation for the Jubilee Year, His Excellency Bishop Provost will release a Decree on the First Sunday of Advent to inform the faithful of ways to participate in the Jubilee Year locally. The commencement of the Jubilee Year will begin with an opening Mass on the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph on December 29, 2024, at 9:30am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Lake Charles.
